Jay Mahmood is a global educator with 25 years of experience in hairdressing, specialising in Precision Haircutting. He began his career as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon at the age of 16, eventually leading one of the Sassoon Academies in London. Formerly the Global Creative Director of Haircutting for Goldwell, Jay developed their global education system and trained teams worldwide, performing in cities like London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Moscow, Sydney, Tokyo and Dubai. He has recently relocated to the United States - and when he is not performing around the world, you can find him teaching classes at the Jay Mahmood Advanced Academy in the San Francisco Bay Area.
